We're friendly and non-judgmental, so if you have any questions about grading - or anything else, please just ask.
GREEN
Floverload
Beginner cyclist/mountain biker with basic off-road riding skills. Most gradients are gentle to moderate. No Technical Trail Features. Trail surface will be uniformed.
BLUE
Peek-a-Blue
Space Melon
Intermediate cyclist/mountain bikers with basic off-road riding skills. Most gradients are moderate but may include short steep sections. Includes small Technical Trail Features. Trail surface may include small obstacles of roots and rocks.
RED
Reddy Steady
Earth Pig
Mud Life Crisis
Proficient mountain bikers with good off-road riding skills.
Steeper and tougher and a challenging nature with technical sections. Expect Technical Trail Features which may include boardwalks, berms, large rocks, medium steps, drop-offs, cambers. Expect very variable surface.
BLACK
Life's a Beech
Expert mountain bike users, used to physically demanding routes.
As "Red" but with an expectation of greater challenge and continuous difficulty. Expect large, committing and unavoidable Technical Trail Features. Sections will be challenging and variable. Can include any useable trail surface.
